This is the online debate format for students who advance to the elimination rounds
Debate Round Structure Each debate round follows a structured format to ensure balanced argumentation and comprehensive discussion:
- Constructive Speeches: Each side presents main arguments to build the foundation for the debate.
- Crossfire: Teams interact, challenging and clarifying points.
- Rebuttal Speeches: Each side addresses key arguments presented by the opposition.
- Summary Speeches: Both sides reinforce their main points and wrap up their arguments.
- Judges’ Questions: Judges question each team, offering a final opportunity for clarification and deeper exploration.
